How Impulse Technology Works

This means that you can hear anything going on around you (even Enhances your hearing) until the sound gets to loud (above 85Db) then It cuts the sound off (to its' NRR Rating Db level) for only the time that it is too loud, then restores your ability to hear. FIRE your 45ACP automatic pistol, the sound is blocked, but hear the Brass hit the concrete floor. Shoot your nailgun into the 2x4 on the construction site, but hear your coworker calling you for lunch. Walk around the Industrial plant and be protected above the 85Db level around equipment, but hear normally in quieter areas.

WHAT IT DOES:

In the OFF Position the hearing protector provides hearing Protection at it's NRR Rating, depending on the model selected. In the ON Position it allows normal hearing below 85Db. Above 85 Db sounds are reduced to the level of the Protectors NRR Rating (depending on model selected). When sounds fall below 85 Db, normal hearing is restored.



How It Works:

Sound is received by the microphone(s) in the ear pod(s) and directed to speakers at each ear by the control circuit(s). The off/volume control permits adjustment for NORMAL or ENHANCED HEARING. When noise levels are above 85Db the circuit stops transmitting to the speakers. When noise levels fall below 85 DB hearing is restored.

• Hear normally up to 85Db

• Above 85Db, sound reduced by NRR Rating of the selected Hearing Protector.

FIRE your 45ACP automatic pistol, the sound is REDUCED, but hear your friends talking and the Brass hit the concrete floor. Shoot your nailgun into the 2x4 on the construction site, but hear your coworker calling you for lunch. Walk around the Industrial plant and be protected above the 85Db level around equipment, but HEAR  NORMAL CONVERSATION and other sounds.
